Be very careful with this repair center. I brought in 2 ridgid drills and a ridgid 18v nailer. 2 of the 3 items were not fixed the first time. The drills were covered under warranty and 1 was actually fixed while the other developed a new issue. On the nailer they charged me $60 saying they cleared a jam / cleaned the track (I brought it in because it was jamming) I test fired it at the store and it jammed on the second shot just like it had before I dropped it off. I left it with them to fix again and they said it had to be cleaned further inside the unit which they had to disassemble it to get to and the charge still stands. The ridgid lifetime service/ 3 year warranty is a marketing scam. Home depot charges 18.95 to drop the tool off and requires you to sign a $100 pre authorization agreement for repair and it can even exceed the cost of a new tool. They will not call you to tell you anything, they just do what ever work and charge you. The manager is replacing the drill free of charge but I am livid about this nail gun. Unfortunately Home depot is virtually the only ridgid ryobi authorized repair center so I have no choice in where I try to use a warranty.

Terrible store! Terrible customer service! Absolutely the worst! Stay away at all cost! I get falsely accused of doing something I wasn't doing. All lies and false accusations. Racial profiling going on big time at this store. A damn thug running the security room, not trained properly, and absolutely had no clue what the hell he was doing. Then he wants to act like a billy bad ass as if he owned the store or the country. Bad idea thug and you know that's how people get killed! This could have turned out to be a major situation for Home Depot and caused serious injury and bodily harm! This inexperienced robocop security thug had no idea how in the hell to treat a customer and all he could do is raise his girly voice and I can gurantee you that was the last time he got away with it. Dude is no longer employed at Home Depot and he will never forget my damn face again! I have a suspicion he's currently on unemployment milking the government for food stamps and playing robocop for his mama and ex boyfriend! Employee's of the Trussville Home Depot could give a damn about the customers. Please stay away from this Home Depot in Trussville unless you want to be harrassed and falsely accused! You have been warned!
